Modeling: knowing what you’re getting into
The reality is the vast majority of models will never reach a status of a supermodel with fame and glory and million dollars paydays. Modeling Job bank has thousands of models signing up everyday and we search tirelessly on an international level to find the next generation of models. Only a few of them actually end up with contracts with our agency and maybe just one if we are lucky may go to supermodel status.
I admit the rewards are incredible for the fortunate few, a professional modeling career at any level involves a lot of hard work on the models part and sacrifice. Models may have to leave their friends, boyfriends, and family because modeling involves them moving to a big city where they can pursue a glamorous modeling career models, models also usually need to leave or defer going to school or make special arrangements to complete their education. Because most models travel so much they may live out of suitcase, wear the same outfit for weeks at a time spending more time sitting on planes than at home. Many models feeling lonely and home sick also get caught up in drugs or alcohol abuse or the model is even taken advantage of by abusive boyfriends. Modeling is fun and exciting but I just think it is important for you to have a realistic picture of a model career.
